The Estación Experimental del Zaidín (EEZ) is a research Centre of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) Agency founded in 1956. The activity of the EEZ is mainly focused in the field of Agricultural Sciences and is organized in four departments: Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology of Plants, Soil Microbiology and Symbiotic Systems, Environmental Protection and Physiology and Biochemistry of the Animal Nutrition. The main objective of the EEZ is to carry out cutting-edge research in Biology (Plant and Animal Biology and Microbiology) and to promote the development of environmental applications as well as for sustainable agriculture and livestock production.

The University of Granada, founded in 1531, continues a long teaching tradition, the roots of which can be traced back to the madrasahs of the last Nasrid Kingdom. SITE

FACULTY OF SCIENCES,  UNIVERSITY OF GRANADA, SPAIN. GRANADA,   03 -07  SEPTEMBER 2017 

The Faculty of Sciences in Granada is a university teaching centre that belongs to the University of Granada, where studies related to experimental sciences are taught. It is located in the Fuentenueva Campus, close to Granada train station, easily accessed by road and just a few minutes away from the Historical Centre and tourist points of interest in the City.

It is a functional building, with disabled access, comprised of pavilions that are more or less independent but linked together via a number of patios. The facilities, including Foyers, Secretary's Office, Main Assembly Hall and Larger auditoriums, necessary for hosting this International Congress, are located in the building's East wing, and are extremely suitable, easy to find and with a high degree of privacy with regards to the rest of the building.

MEETING ROOMS 

ROOM 1: Lecture Theatre from Faculty of Sciencie, fully equipped, with capacity for 500 people, will be used for Plenary Sessions.

ROOM 2: Lecture Room from Faculty of Civil Engineering, located in the same campus with capacity for 250 people, will be used for Parallel Sessions
